Terms and Conditions

Care label instructions
We exercise great care in processing your articles and use methods best suited to the nature and condition of each item. We clean in accordance with the care label instructions. In the absence of this we will consult you but we will not be liable in the event the chosen method damages your clothes.

We offer a safe cleaning guarantee. This means we will process every garment we accept safely. This does not mean we will remove every stain from every garment. If, in our professional opinion, the stain removal will be unsafe or will compromise our safe cleaning guarantee, stain removal efforts will cease.

Limitations
Despite our intent to identify problem garments in advance, we cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses/ defects in material that are not apparent prior to cleaning. We are not to be held responsible for sun fading, colour loss due to non fastness, wear and tear and shrinkage.

Stain removal
We aim to remove all stains but in some cases this is not possible. The chances of stain removal are reduced if any non-professional techniques have been applied such as use of water, alcohol, soda or any shop bought product claiming to remove stains.

We offer a safe cleaning guarantee. This means we will process every garment we accept safely. This does not mean we will remove every stain from every garment. If, in our professional opinion, the stain removal will be unsafe or will compromise our safe cleaning guarantee, stain removal efforts will cease.

We treat problematic stains with great caution but sometimes, in order to achieve best results, we will have to use harsher chemicals and techniques. Should the need for this arise, we will contact you to get approval as certain stain removals can only be done at customer`s own risk. We are unable to guarantee the results.

Suede and leather
Suede and leather garments are examples of materials that have inherent weaknesses or defects, subject to natural flaws. We cannot take responsibility for colour imbalance, colour loss or shrinkage.
Trimmings- buttons, beads, belts etc.

Although we are unable to accept responsibility for the loss or damage to beads, crystals, sequins, buttons, diamanté, pearls, buckles etc. due to their inherent unsuitability for the dry cleaning process, we have unrivalled skill and experience in identifying the most appropriate cleaning method for each specific piece once we have examined its decorative components.

This is a design issue rather than a cleaning one. We have to rely to a certain extent on the fact that the dressmaker / manufacturer has attached the beads adequately and has used beads which are suitable for dry cleaning- although we will, of course, do our best to check and test the components before cleaning.

Personal items
Please check all your garments for money, jewellery or other valuables priori to depositing them with us. If we find any valuables in your garments, we will make every attempt to return them to you but we cannot be held responsible for the loss of any such items that are forwarded to us.

Loss and damage policy
Count discrepancies must be reported within 48 hours of collection/ delivery. After that, we will not assume any responsibility for damaged or missing items. We are not responsible for any loss after collection by a second party.

We will investigate any complaint and pay fair compensation for damage or loss due to our negligence. In the event of damage, if we determine we are responsible, we will replace the item or offer a service credit agreed by both parties. If it is unclear who is responsible for the damage, we will arrange for an independent analysis by a fabric care research laboratory www.satra.co.uk. Restitution will be made based upon the laboratory`s report. We operate on a “loser`s pay” basis.

In the event of loss (unless stated at the time of cleaning that the item is part of a set or valued over £100) we will provide the depreciated fair value of that garment as set out by the International Fabricare Institute ( IFI) . Details of the IFI depreciated values will be explained prior to cleaning if required. The value of the garment depends on the age of the garment. Garments less than 4 months old will require proof of purchase to validate age. Without this, a full replacement cost cannot be given. Less 40% will then apply. Our replacement cost values are taken from a mid-range high street chain, i.e Marks and Spencer/ Debenhams, regardless of brand.

Collection of garments
In the event of garments not being collected within ninety (90) days, we reserve the right to dispose of them as we see fit and we will not be held liable for any loss that you may suffer in such event.

Pricing
We reserve the right to change prices at any time without any given notice.
